RuinsProgress, development, left and right, the line between nature and culture: the maps that once ordered the present are still standing, but they point to places that no longer exist. The first axis starts from there, from the present as ruin. Not the ruin of material collapse, but that of inherited language, still spoken though it no longer explains.
BodiesThe body as a starting point. Not only the human body: the living across all its scales, from organism to ecosystem. Subjectivity, biopolitics, biotechnology, identity, ecology. This axis works from situated experience as a form of knowledge and asks what is at stake when the living becomes a territory of technical and political intervention.
LanguagesLanguage as an epistemological problem: signs, systems of representation, the relationship between what we say and what we call reality. It also includes non-human languages, those of AI, and those that don't yet have a form, testing writings, images, and sounds to say what the available categories fail to express.
BordersEvery border states two things at once: a limit and a belonging. It separates and it names. This axis works on those lines, both the visible ones and those that operate without being drawn, and thinks from the edge, not about the edge. It doesn't seek to erase the line or celebrate its crossing, but to think it through: to hold together two things that never fully blend, to turn exclusion into a question rather than a given.
HologramsWhat happens when the real can no longer be distinguished from its simulation? This axis addresses the simulacra of the present (media, algorithms, virtuality, propaganda) but also their cracks, their ghosts, and their possibilities for poetic hacking. It asks how these operations work, who controls them, and what opens up when there are interferences in the image.
FuturesThis axis closes the journey by turning the gaze forward, to test out what comes next. Collective practice not as a shared certainty or a single future, but as a way of imagining the possible while holding onto what resists homogenization.
