Why ?

Contemporary crises don't just change the world: they change the narratives we use to read it, and the forms of power and collective organization. In a context where inherited categories seem insufficient to read the present, it becomes necessary to cultivate new tools of orientation in the face of large-scale technological, ecological, economic, and political transformations.

CRAC is produced by DIP, an independent, self-managed platform for film education that explores intimacy as a political language. After five years of work, we felt the need to expand our limits and open new questions. If DIP was a space of refuge, encounter, and creation around cinema, this proposes a territory where multiple simultaneous perspectives intersect, and where thought, art, and action intertwine to read the present and rehearse upon it.

The name condenses that paradox: the sound of something that appears to collapse, but is also a starting point.

is conceived as a rehearsal room for the future. Its epistemic axis is to read and rehearse the present.
